That is not a flaw — it is what they are, and they are very good at it. But the day you want one booking record, real occupancy numbers or a front desk, SiteMinder is not the answer to that question, so you buy a second system and pay somebody to keep the two in step. With Revio that day is a switch: the reservation system and the property management system are already reading the same rooms.
Where SiteMinder is genuinely better
They are larger, older and further along than we are. If one of these decides it for you, it should — and we would rather you knew now than three weeks into an evaluation.
